Les has volunteered his time to many community projects, including designing Clean Energy for Eternity's  Washing Machine cyclone. A 140 x 90 meters sculpture designed to bring awarness to global warming in the local area, and Australia at large.

Richard Moffats concept for the cyclone was handed to Leslie to design. Leslie was a small part in Matthew Notts CEFE team achieving an amazing sculpture on the first January 2007, Jellat Jellat Flat.  Also designing large sculpture signs for the CEFE Bega group.

Leslie has also volunteered his time to NAIDOC week using his skills to design and paint a 7 ft yowie and its young, on display at Bega.

Leslie currently has work hanging on loan at the Merimbula RSL, portrait of a local World War One hero.

Sponsoring the Pambula Cricket Club, donating pieces of art.

Les is a member of Clean Energy for Eternity and MakePovertyHistory, with more projects coming up in the future.
